Odd behaviour in IE

Hi everyone

I've had the following conversation on groups, but feel like maybe you guys could point me in the right direction?

Essentially some of the content in the middle of

isn't showing correctly in Internet Explorer 6, although it works fine in firefox and opera. Any help would be really appreciated

I am presuming you mean the header "New Products for July" is partially
covered by the element below it?

I am not sure that it is covered by the content below, looking at the
dom inspector nothing seems to be covering it.

It works absolutly fine in Firefox and Opera, but not right in IE 6.

It is related in some way to "body {font-size: 62.5%;}". I changed it to
100% and the positioning problem went away.

This is true, although it is not really a solution as I need to reduce
the font size in this way, and the stylesheet template which this is
based on reduced the font in this way

On the front page if I remove the padding from the 'New Products for
July' heading the text is all shown, but if you then click on the
'Indie' link in the top left, this page still has the 'Red EP' text
hidden, and the description which appears below.

I had a similar problem, and adding
line-height: 1.1;
in the main section seemed to fix the problem. If that doesn't work for you, I suggest trying to google on the peekaboo bug, as there are other solutions.

The line in red is causing a problem as well.

I'm also curious as to the margin calls.
By setting > margin: 0 10px;you're telling the top and bottom margins to be "0" and the left and right to be "10px".

Then you follow with > margin-top: 1.5em;in most cases.

possibly > margin: 1.5em 1em 0em 1em; would work better.

Margin works clockwise around the box starting at the top -- top - right - bottom - left
