euro sign in email (1.2.x)

The email confirming the order, displays a "€" instead of the Euro symbol. How can I fix this?

Peek in the Configuration ... Email Options ...

You should see a setting for:

Convert currencies for Text emails
What currency conversions do you need for Text emails?
Default = £,£:€,€

Make sure it was not scrambled ... :cool:

That worked.

Just for anybody in the future:

Go to Configuration - > Email Options ->Convert currencies for Text emails

Edit it

You might see > £,£:€,€

As Ajeh said, it should be > £,£:€,€
Change it to that.

I've no idea why is is set to £,£:€,€ !!!
