Implementing Purolator Shipping Module

oxxyfx:

Hey guys,

I am also interested to see this module working. Is it all done, thread closed, or is this still under development? Also, where can we download it from?

Thanks, Oxy.

Did you have any luck finding a solution to this?

We've now received information to create this module. However, as we no longer have an interest in this module for ourselves (no physical items to ship), we'll only be developing the module if someone comes forward to provide financial support.

Re: Implementing Purolator Shipping Module

Hello,

I have been far removed from that project...my apologies for not replying. I see that over the last little while there has been some interest in this module.

I don't know why it was removed from the module list. I'll have to check my archives to see if I still have a copy lying around.

I apologize if I'm not able to find it anymore, it's been a long time since I've been involved in that project.

If I do find it, I'll upload and notify. But it would be at your own risk. I think the last time this module was touched was in early 2007, so I'm assuming a lot has changed with zen-cart since then. I would suggest that the developer taking over to be very careful with how it's integrated.

The best I can do at this point is upload the module IFF I find it in my archive. I hope this helps.

Regards,
wajdi.

Re: Implementing Purolator Shipping Module

Im completely disappointed in Purolator and at this point will be building our store without Purolator shipping integration.

Got the module all installed, and after 3 days of requests finally get the e-ship account set up. Go get the wsdl, get my prod key and password, setup and account only to have them come back and say I need to go thru the development process first.

I explain it's an existing module and I simply need the product key.

'Purolator Web services' tells me I need to go thru the dev process first. I explain I'm not a programmer, but means little to them.

Problem solved - will be using UPS and Canada post for shipping options only.

Re: Implementing Purolator Shipping Module

UPDATE - Just got off the phone with Puro Development who were more than helpful! As explained to me by Gilles at Puro they only began donig the web dev last August and wasn't aware that there was a module in circulation being used. So, when I made my request, they of course wanted me to go down the development route versus straight to production.

The are aware of the module now and will be able to handle requests for a production key use easier knowing that folks out there are starting to implement.

Was a bit of a frustrating process (as was seen in my post) especially compared to the ease of getting similar access with other carriers like FedEx UPS, but I think now that there is more awareness of what people are using the path will be a bit easier moving forward.

Now - having said that

I have everything configured, have my wsdl file in my cat root, have the mod installed, entered production key and password and account yet it is not generating me quotes. On my Shipping Estimate popup it only shows my UPS and FedEx pricing not Purolator. And when I go to the checkout my Purolator icon appears but instead of pricing states:

"An unknown error occured with the Purolator shipping calculations.
Please Correct this information in your profile, or contact the xxx via Email."

suggestions?
