Authorize.net CCV

hello,

I use authorize.net so i just turned off the credit card module and i no longer see the option to enter the ccv number....do i need to require this from authorize.net or from zen-cart admin?

You need both - the Authorize.net_aim payment module should be turned on with authorize and capture enabled as well as CCV and you have to make sure that your authorize.net account is set up to accept them. Once those are both in place you will then be able to process credit cards including the CCV thru your zen cart.

i am using the regular authorize.net .... do I need to use the AIM as well or just the AIM?

I haven't worked with it for a while, but as far as I know you MUST use the AIM if you want to collect the CCV - and you don't want to turn on both because if you turn on CCV on your authorize.net account and people use the regular Authorize.Net cc box (which doesn't ask for the CCV) it is going to fail at authorize.net for no CCV.

Basically you either have it on (CCV) or you have it off - if it's on use Authorize.net_aim module, if not use the other.

for the zen cart only....do i need bothe the authorize.net module and the suthorize.net_AIM module on....or just the _AIM module?
