Don't display New products

I'm trying to set things up so that New Products show ONLY on the main page and not after product listings.

However the New products keep displaying under the "intermediate" category list - to see what I mean, go to https://www.fastlec.co.uk (wip).

New products display on Main Page - correct.
Click on Domestic Fans - new products do NOT display - correct
Click on Domestic Fans/Accessories - new products display - NOT WANTED
Click on Domestic Fans/Accessories/Controllers - new products don't display - correct.

Am I doing something wrong?

In the Index Listing ...

There are several "sets" of settings for the Centerboxes ...

Turn OFF by setting to 0 all of the ones you do NOT want to see displayed ...

Note: the values are the Sort Order of the Centerboxes ...

Of course - how careless of me!
