Price (inc) shows same as Total (inc)

If I buy 2 or more items from my shop, the invoice list the items like this:

Price (ex) Price (inc) Total (ex) Total (inc)
398:- 498:- 398:- 498:-
960:- 1,200:- 960:- 1,200:-

when it should be like this:
Price (ex) Price (inc) Total (ex) Total (inc)
398:- 498:- 398:- 498:-
960:- 1,200:- **1,358:- ****1,698:- **

Please compare the bold numbers...

Anyone know where I can change so it shows how I want it to show ?

Re: Price (inc) shows same as Total (inc)

Did you turn on the Display Tax for Admin?

Peek in the Configuration ... My Store ...

Display Prices with Tax in Admin
Display prices with tax included (true) or add the tax at the end (false) in Admin(Invoices)

true
false

Does this help?

Re: Price (inc) shows same as Total (inc)

Display Prices with Tax true
Display Prices with Tax in Admin true

Yes, they are set to True but still it shows like above...

If I put Admin to false, it won't show the price without the taxes... So it's on True.

Maybe I should have given a more simple example:

Price (ex) Price (inc) Total (ex) Total (inc)
100:- 125:- 100:- 125:-
500:- 625:- **500:- **625:-

when it should be like this:
Price (ex) Price (inc) Total (ex) Total (inc)
100:- 125:- 100:- 125:-
500:- 625:- **600:- 750:- **

I hope you know what I mean :(

Re: Price (inc) shows same as Total (inc)

Noone seems to know how to solve this so maybe the best way is to disable Total (ex) and Total (inc) rows plus the prices for theese columns. Anyone know how to disable them ?

What version of Zen Cart are you using?

Are you sure when you made the order that you had your tax set up?

Have you any add-ons to your shop?

Does the tax show in the Customer's Account info of the shop?

Are you sure?

It seems that you're talking about Two products in your example. If so, they are right:

Price (ex) Price (inc) Total (ex) Total (inc)

Product 1: 100.00 125.00 100.00 125.00
Product 2: 500.00 625.00 500.00 625.00

Maybe you meant the results at the end, Subtotal and Total.

If so, they would appear two lines down this way:

Subtotal: 750.00
Total: 750.00

I hope this helps.

Kinethic.

Hi !

Oh, really, it suppose to be like this ? Yes, it's 2 products and I thought that the second product on column 3 and 4 were suppose to add product 1 and 2, ex and inc tax. But if it suppose to look like this, then nothing is wrong  ...

Ok, so do you (or anyone else) know how to delete "Total ex" and "Total inc" ? It's seems a little bit unessessary to have the same numbers repeated like that so I would like to delete one of them...

Re: Price (inc) shows same as Total (inc)

What would now be shown to users purchasing more than one of the same item?

The reason you need to show all of this info is to show the customer the excl and incl price for a single item, the second half would then reflect the total for the two/three or more of the same item the customer bought. This is standard practise in a tax based retail environment as the tax on one item (incl) times 5 is not always the same as the excl price of the item times 5 plus tax.

Tax is always rounded to the nearest full amount. 6% tax on an item costing 0.05 will be 0 (0.053 rounded back to 0.05) but if the customer bought 10 of the same item (ten times 0.05 = 0.50) then tax of 0.03 will be charged (0.50 + 6% = 0.53) and that is why you always need to show both sets of information.

Hi !

Yes, this is what I wanted to have but as shown on the examples above, it only showed the single products price so no point of having the same numbers repeted 2 times.
Now:
Price (ex) Price (inc) Total (ex) Total (inc)
Product 1 100:- 125:- 100:- 125:-
Product 2 500:- 625:- 500:- 625:-

Want to have:

Price (ex) Price (inc) Total (ex) Total (inc)
Product 1 100:- 125:- 100:- 125:-
Product 2 500:- 625:- 600:- 750:-

100+500 = 600 ex VAT
125+625 = 750 inc VAT

Using 25% VAT (sweden)

So the Total should show the total price of product 1 and 2, ex and inc.

But if you or anyone else have a solution how I can make this work, please let me know.

Regards,
/Typhoon
