newbie: admin problems + others

hi, i am very new at this and am having a couple of problems:

• when i goto https://www.designz.com.au/store/admin i recieve the following message:

Warning: main(includes/languages/english.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /var/virtual/web/w0167/html/store/admin/includes/init_includes/init_languages.php on line 30

Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required 'includes/languages/english.php' (include_path='.:/usr/share/pear') in /var/virtual/web/w0167/html/store/admin/includes/init_includes/init_languages.php on line 30

also when i go to https://www.designz.com.au/store i find it doesnt seem to load fully .... any help is appreciated!

It appears that you either didn't upload all of the files or you are trying to use your 1.2 template and it isn't compatible.

I think one step that is often not mentioned when upgrading is that you should set the template of your 1.2 shopping cart to default BEFORE you download the database to upgrade it ( since template settings are saved in the database) or simply do not upload your template file until you are sure your new 1.3 cart had no problems (this way it will automatically force it to use template default).
