[Done 1.3.9] Group discount/gift certificate orders pending?

For some reason it is setting orders paid for with group discounts or gift certificates to pending...any idea why or where I can change this? The order total module is installed and I can't find any other settings to change...am I overlooking something?

Default Order Status For Zero Balance Orders
When an order's balance is zero, this order status will be assigned to it.

Well, it's set to processing there, but still, all orders are going pending...

What version Zen Cart?

What does the Payment read on the order in the email?

umm ... hmm ... I will get back to you ... surely this isn't a ... er ... bug ... :eek:

Just to be sure it wasn't me, I even went and put it back to the classic template and it still happened. I have installed dr byte's column layout grid mod, but that's the only mod I've installed, FYI. Oh, and on an order I used paypal and paid with, I was redirected and got my downloads fine.

Yeps ... it is just the orders where the order_total goes to 0.00 because of GVs and Coupons ... but I think DrByte and I have this one covered in a few ...

Moving this to the Bug Reports ... thanks ... :smile:

So, is this still considered a bug? Any idea when it might be fixed? I have a client (the one who discovered this problem) asking about it.

The Orders status for 0.00 Orders by GV and Discount Coupon has been fixed for the next release coming soon ... :smile:

Define soon...... just kidding. I just happen to run into the same problem today and was trying to code a work around but if you have it taken care I will just wait.

Hey gang,

I'm getting this error currently on 1.3.7.1. All GV/Coupons with a total charge of $0.00 are always going to (1) Pending no matter what the setting is in admin/config/GV coupons. (I want (3))

Can you point me to the proper file for correction and maybe what was corrected to make this work?
