Category images on front page

Hello,

I would like to display all the category images on the first page, similar to the way new products / features / speacials can be displayed on the front page.

Could anyone help me as to how I would acheive this?

I am using v.1.3 of ZenCart.

Admin-> Configuration -> Layout Settings -> 'Categories - Always Show on Main Page' = 1
