added page showing incorrectly

I have ver. 1.2.5. Still new and trying to get a working site. Have read about upgrading and just not ready for it yet. I dug up some info about adding pages. Have modified:
includes/languages/english
html_includes
includes/modules/pages
includes/templates/template_default/templates
includes/modules/sideboxes/more_information.php
includes/languages/english.php

The added page [5] does show in the More Info box... but it shows the contents of the home page. In Admin/tools this page shows [with the info I want displayed] but it does not show in Admin/config/define page status. What happened? What did I miss or how do I correct this.

That version is so old and buggy ... I would really recommend you upgrade to at least v1.2.7 if not v1.3.0.2 ...

Note: frames are not the best thing when it comes to search engines ...

I've looked at the source for the page that is not showing correctly and I have:

This should be showing page5 instead of index. How do I change that reference? Where does it pull that info from? :blink:

if it's going to "index" instead of "page_5" ... then you're missing the includes/modules/pages/page_5/header_php.php file

Go to Admin->Configuration->My Store->Missing Page Check ... and turn it off. This will show you more detailed errors

Not really sure what I'm to be looking for in that file.. and what needs to be changed. Any suggestions?? I checked that module/pages/page_5/header_php.php and I do have it. I just copied the page 4 to get it and changed it to say 5 where there was a 4. All the page header_php files seem to be identical except for the page info.

Have you added it to your includes/filesnames.php?
