Attributes calculator in products page

Hi All

I have been working on a test product page for a while now.

What i am looking to do is have a total amount (like a sub total) that works on the attribute selected displayed in the product page, so the customer will not have to go to check out to see there total.

is there any way to do this?

Wow...the timing is incredible! I actually came here today to ask about the same thing.

I really need this also...like a "live" subtotal, recalculate button...anything to make it so my customer doesn't have to go to their cart just to view the total.
