"Down For Maintenance" text removal

Hi,
How do you alter/remove the "Down for maintenance...please excuse the dust" text that shows when the site is put into 'maintenance mode'? Where might that file be located? If it matters, I am working with the nightfall template.
Well shoot, while I'm at it, how can I adjust the width of this template to expand to a full page look?

In your includes/languages/english/<your_language>/down_for_maintenance.php file. Found by using - > admin - > tools - > developpers tool kit.
