Can't shut off Units in Stock line

Can't figure this out. No matter what I do, the Units in Stock line displays underneath the product graphic. Since we make our products to order, they are never out of stock. After experimenting, I set the product's quantity to 1 when I entered it into the database.

Have configured Admin > Configuration > Product Listing > Display Product Quantity = 0.

Have also configured Admin > Configuration > All Listing > Display Product Quantity = 0.

Still, the listing says "1 Units in Stock"

So, what am I missing THIS time?

Then there are the individual Product Type settings in the Catalog ... Product Type ... Edit Layout ...

Lots of areas to customize to give you choices of where and when you need to display information ...

Try in your admin > catalog > Product Types > now at the right top there is an 'edit layout' button; select this and then find; 'Show Quantity in Stock' and set to "false".

See if that corrects what you want. Dont' forget to refresh completely.
