Is there a way to Disable the Shopping Cart ...

I know the question sounds a little ridiculous considering Zencart is a shopping cart, however I have a client who just wants to show pictures of their products and the prices on their website but does not want the Shopping Cart Icons to appear in the Product Details pages or anywhere else. They have their clients contact them directly to conduct the actual purchase.

I tried a few of the settings in the Admin Console to disable the shopping cart but there did not appear to be any effect. I know I could "probably" do it physically in the code but only want to do that as a last resort.

So I am hoping there is as Administrator Setting or a Code Setting that will completely disbable the actual shopping cart portion while retaining the product catalog and browsing.

I found the setting I think
Customer Details -> Customer Shop Status - View Shop and Prices -> set to 3

I set it to 3, from 0, and went in and checked and it looks like the shopping cart is gone and it now displays Showroom Only

I am hoping that is what my client wanted :)

This is a very neat feature in ZC.

I noticed that the link/image to add the item into cart has been replaced with a text "Showroom Only".

How can I make that text as an image? Probably I should put "Call to Buy" or something like that.

I think ZC will refer to my buttons folder in my template, but what will be the name of it?

In admin > Tools > Developers Toolkit, paste a piece of the text ( like Showroom) in the lower left box, select all files and search.
It will show you the file and line number where the text is defined, and you can then edit that and put a copy in your template overrides for safekeeping.

Yes I know how can the Toolkit works, and it turned out 16 matches to the word "showroom". Probably I need to look at each one of it and find linkage to an image so I could build a picture to replace "Showroom only" text.

might be quicker searching for TEXT_LOGIN_FOR_PRICE_BUTTON_REPLACE_SHOWROOM
