Help Newbie: Categories option instead of New Products

Hi there, I'm completely new to this ZenCart program and I could use some help.

On the main page, the centerbox displays all the New Products for the month. I would like to change it to a centerbox that just displays Categories of products.

Thanks,

Marc

In your admin, choose Configuration > Index Listing and turn off Show New Products on Main Page (set to 0).

You can choose a category to display on your main page before visitors make any selection, but not all categories at once: Configuration > Layout Settings > Main Page - Opens with Category.

You will learn a lot by just going through the menus in admin and reading every option displayed there. Much of it won't make sense at first, but when you need something you may remember seeing it.
