How do i increase the page count in the product listings?

How do i increase the page count in the product listings?

My client has alot of products in some of his categories and right now its only showing 5 pages at a time. He wants to increase it to 10 as the default. where can i change this?

But I still dont understand
As I know we have products under categories then what is this 5 pages thing?
