How Do I remove the Congratulations! You have successfully installed your Zen Cart™?

I have been trying to remove the Congratulations! You have successfully installed your Zen Cart™ E-Commerce Solution.. But I can seem to find how to remove it, Any help would be good.

It would be better if you change the text in both the cases
So you do this change

How do you change it in the admin or control panel

this is from from the index.php file. you need to navigate to this file and open it with a text editor and change the wording in red to what ever you would like. remember to leave the single quotes around the text.

You are in the right file

Just do the changes as suggested above

Regarding doing it from Admin, I am not very sure

How are you opening the file?
You have to ftp the file first to your local machine
Then edit and copy it back to the server

You are in the right file
/home/budgetho/public_html/includes/languages/english/index.php

Please use the includes/languages/<your_language>/english/index.php file to make these modifications. Otherwise, when a new upgrade package will be released from the DEV team, it will overwrite the files as you will loose all current modifications you might be doing from that point.

I can't get in to edit it.

Without knowing which FTP Client software you're currently using, you can always access, and edit, your files through your cPanel access account - under your file manager. There is absolutely no risk on making these editions from that feature. However, for your safety, a backup of the file would be, first, recommended before making any modifications. This way, in case of failures, you can always replace the file into your override folder. :thumbsup:

From there, when you download your file first, you can easily edit your file with your favorite editor (Note: Tecommended to use notepad or any related good PHP text editor to edit these types of files).

Once edited, simply re-drag your file into your server's end and tala ! :wink2:
