Subcategories Dont Show

Hello,

I have searched for a while and couldnt find a thread that had this problem. But when click on a Category the SubCategories do not display on the Content page, only on the Navigation Box. If anyone could help me out or at least point me in the right direction I would definately appreciate it. the link is below

Re: Subcategories Dont Show

If you switch to the Classic Template does this work correctly?

I forgot to mention that. NO classic view still has the same problem.

Re: Subcategories Dont Show

So far I cannot repeat the error ...

Again, what version are you using?

Do you have Categories with Products and Categories in the same Category?

Have you only customized via template and override files or have you touched original files?

Do you have any add-ons? You appear to have something loaded that is different ... as the Listing is not listing normally ... and the category rows are not listing normally ...

If you view source you can see that the page is dying before it finishes loading ...

Re: Subcategories Dont Show

I am using V 3.1.0.2 I do have add ons but I am pretty sure I didn't touch any of the original files... But if I did do you know what files could have been messed up? Is there anyway I can just replace those files with the original ones? I don't specifically remember touching them but it definately is possible.

Re: Subcategories Dont Show

You could use something like Beyond Compare from scootersoftware.com and see if you can locate where the differences between v1.3.0.2 and your site are ...

Or, backup your whole site ...

Get a clean download of the Full Zen Cart v1.3.0.2 download from the link above for get Zen Cart ...

First, try to Reload:
/includes/modules/category_row.php

Does it work?

Next, Reload all of the directories and files in the:
/includes/templates/template_default

Technically, these files should never of been touched ...

Does it work?

NOTE: be sure you have a complete backup of your site before you get started ...

You could try a slower method of updating files by looking at the dates and times and see how they compare, but unless you are pretty familar with your site and how the dates and times vary, this could be more trouble than it is worth ...
