Tracking search engine keywords

Greetings! Does anyone know of a way to attach keywords from search engines to orders to help track sem campaign success. Please let me know if there is a way to do any of the following:

  1. Is there a variable that I can attach to the URL that will get added into the order data?

  2. Are there any 3rd party modules for this purpose?

  3. Has anyone attempted to modify code to add this data to the database when someone places an order?

I've been searching the forum, but can't seem to figure this one out. It would be a really nice feature for our cart, so if anyone has an idea, please let me know!
