we do not accept that kind of card

using the autorizenet_aim module. It is configured to accept Visa, MC, AmEx,and Discover. I have verified that the account in Authorize.net is also setup to receive such.

Visa and MC seem to work fine, but Discover and AmEx are bombing with the following error:

the credit card number starting with 3715 was not entered correctly or we do not accept that kind of card

of course, the 3715 is the amex card -- but the discover is the same with the discover prefix.

i have searched the entire zencart directory for components of the error message without success. Any insight would be welcome?

You have added Discover and Amex in the Admin> Configuration> Credit Cards?

That was it. Wow. Smacks of quickbooks -- I didn't expect that the credit cards would be separate from the credit card processing component.

There is a separate process since there are many different Credit Card gateways, and all need verification before sending the number to the gateway.
