Currency conversion in Paypal

I understand that certain currencies, like USD, GBP, EUR will go straight into Paypal checkout payment in that currency and there is no issue. But other currencies, like HKD or say KRW, where its not in Paypal, paypal checkout auto converts it into USD. May I know if this conversion is done in Zencart, or in Paypal? Because its important to know the rate this conversion is done..

It's done by Zen Cart prior to sending the amount to PayPal for collection.... based on the currency rates specified in Admin->Localization->Currencies

Not sure how soon you'll be "testing" it out ... but if it's before the next release of Zen Cart, you might want to try this patch out:
