Adding Descriptions / Captions to images

Does anyone know if this is possible / how it is done? My client wants to add additional images with a description under each image.

Additional Images is part of Zen Cart ...

However, the captions beneath are not ...

You would need to build some custom code for this ...

You might be able to add a new database for image and caption that can be used as a lookup on the Additional images to be included on the display ...

We need to do this with additional images, the option to be able to insert different captions under each image, has anyone managed to create an add on or work out how to do it as the client is really pushing for this!
