Modifying a oscommerce contrib for Zen (UPS tracking with XML)

I used oscommerce before moving over to zen-cart. One of the contributions that I had really like was the UPS tracking with XML because it did not require customers to leave my site to get ups tracking information.

I have tried to figure it out myself but I will admit that my php coding knowledge is limited and nearing none beyond comparing code and making small changes.

There is something that does a similiar job but isn't exactly what you wanted ... it lets you put in the the tracking number so when the customer looks at his/her order on your site it gives them the link to follow to track the package.

Ditto for the ty package tracker. It works great!

Yeah I have the ty tracking installed. I was just hoping that it would be possible to get the above working since it does not take the customer away from my site to get the information.
