Buy now button when viewing category

Well I've worked out how to display the buy now button in almost every place I need to apart from one.

When showing products in a category, it still shows the enter product quantity box, and i can't find anywhere I can change this. I can change it for featured products and for new products but no in this place.

Any ideas?

You are using an add on of some sort ...

Usually, the Configuration ... Products Listing ... would have a setting for:

Display Multiple Products Qty Box Status and Set Button Location
Do you want to display Add Multiple Products Qty Box and Set Button Location?
0= off
1= Top
2= Bottom
3= Both

This turns OFF the quantity boxes and removes the two Add selected products to cart buttons ... and the Add to Cart button would appear ...

However, with the add-on ... I am not sure if that will be the final solution ... as we did not write it ... :smile:

I thought that would turn off the quantity box in the product itself, rather than on that dispaly.

i have the same problem and had it set to '0'
but how come, some items are still displaying qty box and some are buy now button. i want all with buy now button. please help. thanks.

What version Zen Cart?

Clean install or an upgrade? If an upgrade, from what version and how did you upgrade?

It looks like some of your Products were setup with:

Products Quantity Box Shows: No, Do not show Quantity Box

vs using the default of:

Products Quantity Box Shows: Yes, Show Quantity Box

i can't seem to find where the setting to turn off the quantity box. what i know is i turned off the display quantity setting. where exactly to set?

In the Catalog ... Categories/Products ...

Find a Product where you do not have the qty box showing ... that is set for:

Products Quantity Box Shows: No, Do not show Quantity Box

If you want the Qty box to show, you need to turn that on ...

Otherwise, find a Product where you do have the qty box showing ... that is set for:

Products Quantity Box Shows: Yes, Show Quantity Box

If you do NOT want the Qty box to show, you need to turn that OFF ...
