Newbie i get Warning Messege please help!

Warning: I am able to write to the configuration file: /home/tennisba/public_html/store/includes/configure.php. This is a potential security risk - please set the right user permissions on this file.

What does that mean i get it everytime it appears on top everytime i acces my store front.:huh:

What you need to do now is to follow the instructions in the /docs where it tells you after installation you need to complete some tasks to make your site secure ...

Have you had a chance to read the /docs in your new Zen Cart v1.3.0.2 installation? :smile:

Help Please, i tried to upload the files to my computer using FTP and then changed them to READ ONLY. Using right click properties "Read Only" Upload them again and nothing! i still get the same warning message.

Then i went to my Host Control panel - File manager located those files and change permission from 755 to 644 both files.

Cliked Ok.

Go back to my Zen cart maine page and still get the same Warning.

Any suggestions?

444 is read read read ...

So it will work when 644 cannot ...

NOTE: to overwrite a 444 file you will need to change it to 644 at least as 444 is read read read and no write ... :smile:
