Moving Several Items at once

Is there any easy way to MOVE several items at once from one category to another??

this is a feature many people are hoping for.

from what I know, you can't do multiple items at a time.
For now you can only move one product at a time which is a pain in the ass.

You can in a round about way move all the Products in categories_id 69 to categories_id 65 ... in 3 steps ...

In the Categories Links Manager are settings below all the Categories ...

Go to a product in categories_id 65 and click on C for Copy then click on the Master Categories Link Manager ...

You would copy all products in categories_id 69 as Linked Products to categories_id 65 ...

Then, Reset all products in categories_id 65 to use categories_id 65 as the master_categories_id

Then, Remove all products in categories_id 65 from being Linked to categories_id 69

NOTE: for a category to show in the Master Categories Links Manager there must be at least 1 product in the Category ...

WARNING: Backup before attempting this ... you can really make a mess until you get familiar with it ...

I just went through the steps for this and it REALLY looks scary.
This is the step that I am hesitant on:

Then, Reset all products in categories_id 65 to use categories_id 65 as the master_categories_id

Backup ...

The Products need a master_categories_id as in what Category "owns" the Products for pricing purposes ...

Since you moved a gang of them, you need to reset them to the new categories_id

Or, go through and manually set them 1 by 1 ...
