Upload image not working

Upload image not working

I have installed Zen-Cart on several servers for other people and have never had this problem. I am loading on a machine I have never used before.

When I add a product and try to upload an image, it does not upload.

Is there something I am missing?

I am using version 1.2.7 because I am using the auction mod.

CentOS
MySQL: 4.1.20-standard-log
PHP Version: 4.4.2
Apache/1.3.36 (Unix)
PHP/4.4.2
mod_throttle/3.1.2

Is upload images in general working?
Or is it just a problem with zen-cart?

Thanks for asking.

I can no longer upload to Coppermine Photo Gallery or Zoom Media Gallery.

This something new on this server. Is it a Linux or Apache setting?

Well,
upload_tmp_dir should be writable.
See phpinfo or better contact the host for this!

Yep, that's it.

upload_temp_dir has no value

They just did an upgrade to Apache and CentOS.

The upload_tmp_dir did not exist. That is why when I did a phpinfo it came back "no value."

so where do we find this file?

ive seen now 10 threads on this and suspect that the root cause is ISP software/hardware uprades becuase most report that it happens all of a sudden after always working.

Please advise.
