default template - bestsellers missing

Hi All

I have been playing around for a little while and learnt alot, but just noticed my
BestSellers box is missing.

Its all turned on in layout settings , configured for the right side but isn't there.

Im using the Red Shade Classic template so presume this has removed it?

Question is , and probably a simple answer

How do I revert back to a standard template such as using the default template settings, as i heard the classic template shouldn't be used ..

Also, and totally different direction..how do you get those scrolling windows with items you have for sale, or is it javascript

I used to have a bestsellers box but now it isnt there.

could this be to do with a template disabling?

Some of the Zen Cart sideboxes are "smart" - they only show when needed. Bestsellers is one of those- Have you sold anything yet?

Yes, the classic template with 1.3.x is less than advised, but due to the many carts that would be upgrading from older versions, the "classic" style templates in the contributions area are based on the template_default files and are XHTML valid...

These are not the classic templates that are not advised.

They are named "CLASSIC" for recognition only.
They are only a starting place for one to further customize.

Bot sold anything yet no, but will bear it in mind
