Is there a better way? Menu Separator

If you see the nav at the top of https://www.specializedcomposition.com .. for now, I am using border-right for the black spacers between links. Is there a better way to do this?

I want it to look a little cleaner and not have the black bars on the far right.

Thanks for your help!

What do think would be a "better way"?? There are countless ways to do this, how would you like it to display?

Also helpful if you post the code that represents where you are now with a description of what you want to change.

"Cleaner" is in the eye of the beholder.

You could add an image of your choice in front of every link by modifying tpl_modules_categories_tabs.php

includes\templates\YOURTEMPLATE\templates\

You would just add the code inside the <li> tag.

something like this:
line 21: <li><IMG SRC="YOURIMAGE.GIF"><?php echo $links_list[$i];?></li>

If you know css then you can provably do something with css instead.
