Position of the Search Header

I've spent the last hour perusing past posts regarding this, but have yet to solve it. I simply want to be able to control
the placement of the header (now displayed at the top-right corner) to be centered, and perhaps below the header image itself.

So far I've tinkered with the tpl_header.php file a bit, but to no avail. After all I don't know php. Thanks for the help!

PS - I'm using zencart 1.3.0.2 my store can be seen here

Re: Position of the Search Header

Thought a copy of my tpl_header.php may be useful...

<?php
/**
 * Common Template - tpl_header.php
 *
 * this file can be copied to /templates/your_template_dir/pagename<br />
 * example: to override the privacy page<br />
 * make a directory /templates/my_template/privacy<br />
 * copy /templates/templates_defaults/common/tpl_footer.php to /templates/my_template/privacy/tpl_header.php<br />
 * to override the global settings and turn off the footer un-comment the following line:<br />
 * <br />
 * $flag_disable_header = true;<br />
 *
 * @package templateSystem
 * @copyright Copyright 2003-2006 Zen Cart Development Team

Re: Position of the Search Header

You have got the correct file...find this code there:

</div>
<div class="navMainSearch forward"><?php require(DIR_WS_MODULES . 'sideboxes/search_header.php'); ?></div>

Change to:

</div>
<div class="navMainSearch center"><?php require(DIR_WS_MODULES . 'sideboxes/search_header.php'); ?></div>

Upload...

Sit back & have a pint!!

Re: Position of the Search Header

Wow, that was even simpler that I'd expected...and I figured it'd be embarrassingly simple. Thanks!

The only other thing, is it possible to move it vertically? As in to put it just below the header?

Re: Position of the Search Header

Yea, you guys took too long. I just moved the pertinant text from the tpl_header file to tpl_main_page and all was well. Thanks!
