Security patch for 1.3x: Where to put edited files
Hi Friends:
This is probably a better thread to post this in then where I posted previously.
we've all been asked to make code changes to fix the security problem reported today.
I have a custom template based on classic. I know that for most of the changes I have made so far, I place the edited file within the new template file I created.
What about the edited files to theses patches? Do I just replace the files I edited exactly where I originally found them in the file structure? Do I put them within the my_template folder I made when I did my custom? Do I create My_template folders within the directory that houses the file I'm editing and place it there, e.g.,
includes/my_templaye/editedfile.php?
I'm a bit confused. I want to be sure the newly edited files are properly read.
