Register and pay for conference

Hello,

I manage a website for a non-profit / charity website dedicated to resourcing paid and volunteer youth workers. There are various conferences throughout the country and it is very likely that we will be the central place to manage all the registrations for these conferences. So, if you want to go to a conference you come to our website, find the conference you want to attend and and register for it. Any suggestions on how I would go about setting this up as a product? They would have to enter the registration information then have the option of paying for it right away.

Any ideas would be greately appreciated.

Sure -- create a product for each event. Attach some attributes for whatever special selections they get to choose ... I dunno... maybe plush seating vs folding chairs? They can add their selections to their cart and pay by CC or paypal.

I'm not sure what your exact question is. Have you tried any approaches and found they don't work as desired? if so, what?

Re: Register and pay for conference

Ok that sounds good. I will have to look into it a bit more. I am a real noobie so I will have to mess around with virtual products and how to create attributes. But I can use the search engine for that. If I am specific questions as time goes on I will ask them here.

Thanks.
