IE text color issue suddenly appeared

Good evening all,

I recently changed my "Starting at" text color on the product listing page light grey. All of a sudden, it is appearing bright green in IE (have I mentioned lately I hate IE). In FF, all is goodness and light.

The line of code is governing the text color for this is in prouduct_listing_display.php

$lc_text='<b><font color="666666">Starting at: $' . $lc_price . '</font></b><br>';

So - anyone know a solution to this bug, err feature?
(Have I mentioned I hate IE)

As always,
Thank you,
Laura

$lc_text='<b><font color="666666">Starting at: $' . $lc_price . '</font></b><br>';

Instead of hardcoding the color and a bold tag,

Give it a CSS class and control the color style and weight via the stylesheet.

Please do not PM for support issues: a private solution doesn't benefit the community.

Be careful with unsolicited advice via email or PM - Make sure the person you are talking to is a reliable source.

Re: IE text color issue suddenly appeared

Hi Kim,

I'd absolutely love to! However, I know nothing about creating CSS - do you have time to guide me through this?

I have a Dreamweaver Bible, that has a chapter on CSS and I'm starting with that, but I don't think I'll be up and running for a while.

Thanks so much,
Laura
