how to know if shipping or store pickup ?

hi everyone,

I am doing a module for shipping insurance but i have a problem.

We sell by shipping, but also at store; so when we sell by shipping all is ok
but when the customer make an order online and choice to "walk in store" the module display the insurance cost also.
How can I do for do not display the insurance ?
