font sizes different on each page....

How do I set the fonts for everything to be the same on every page. The main page is set up how I like, however if I click a category and go to it's page, the fonts are HUGE.

I've looked it the stylesheet.css and I see all the heading fonts and such but when i change those it changes my main page, not the category page.

Re: font sizes different on each page....

sorry my store ishttp://www.eclecticaclothing.com/store

I only use Firefox and that has seemed to be my problem amongst most of my coding issues. It will look perfect in Firefox and then when I check it in IE it's completely messed up. The huge fonts, however, show up on both browsers, once i click a category.

Re: font sizes different on each page....

There is a hidden error in black text upon a black background:

-Warning: Wrong parameter count for define() in /home/eclekui0/public_html/store/includes/languages/english/index.php on line 56

what does that mean? I haven't really messed with that file so i'm not sure how something would get messed up. so what do i do next?

Re: font sizes different on each page....

I think there may be a syntax error when you modified "Congratulations! You successfully installed.."

In the directory stated, look for:

} elseif ($category_depth == 'top') {
  // This section deals with the "home" page at the top level with no options/products selected
  /*Replace this text with the headline you would like for your shop. For example: 'Welcome to My SHOP!'*/
  define('HEADING_TITLE', 'Congratulations! You have successfully installed your Zen Cart™ E-Commerce Solution.');
} elseif ($category_depth == 'nested') {
  // This section deals with displaying a subcategory
  /*Replace this line with the headline you would like for your shop. For example: 'Welcome to My SHOP!'*/
  define('HEADING_TITLE', 'Congratulations! You have successfully installed your Zen Cart™ E-Commerce Solution.');
}

If you emptied the HEADING_TITLE(one or both), make sure they are properly closed.. example: define('HEADING_TITLE', '');
The part in red is usually missed.

Well, if you haven't modified "store/includes/languages/english/index.php", then you could upload a fresh version of that said file. See what happens then, but I don't see the "Congratulations! You successfully installed.." statement anywhere. :huh:

Re: font sizes different on each page....

Ahhh, a good point of interest was brought up in your other thread, concerning template overrides.

Follow it up here instead.

Re: font sizes different on each page....

As stated, you have edited this file or the congrats would be showing up...

You have this " .::((eclectica clothing store))::. " as your site title...

Use the admin > tools > developers tool kit and search for this to see where you have entered this. Should be index.php and then post the lines of code here

Re: font sizes different on each page....

That's good to hear.

If you don't mind spilling the beans to how you corrected this problem and the immediate cause, it might help out someone whom is experiencing the same issue.

apparently there was a ' (single quotation mark) missing from the code in my english/nightfall/index.php file where it says:

define('HEADING_TITLE','this is where you put your greeting');

I had been looking at the english/index.php file and not my override file.
That's why I couldn't figure it out. (i'm retarded) I forgot about my override file til someone mentioned it.
