how to add a new empty sidebox??

this is stressing me out... trying to customize one of the default sideboxes.. i renamed "currencies" to something else and trying to remove the content and would get an error when doing this. does anybody know where i can read to find out how to start a new side box?

Grab the "paypal verified logo" sidebox contribution as an example of a single new sidebox. Granted, all it does is display an image if certain criteria are met, and does not output any text.

i recently installed the "paypal sidebox mod" i wanted to use the empty side box for something else.. in html you can type info in the <body> and it would show up. i tried typing in something and it owuld not show up only errors. is there a tutorial that explains where to type the info to show up in the sidebox?

1. you want to change the content of the paypal sidebox.
2. the content definitions for that sidebox are in the language files (see the wiki link posted earlier):
   a. box title:```
   define('BOX_HEADING_PAYPAL_BOX', 'Paypal Verified Seller');

b. box content: if you don't require any multi-language support, you could replace the contents of the $content variable in your tpl_paypal_logo.php file with something like:```
  $content = 'Put my own HTML-marked-up content here';
 
```If you require multi-language support, then you should create definitions in a language file, and use the CONSTANT_NAME in the $content variable portion of the code.


The paypal sidebox is only one of many examples. There's also the "blank sidebox" contribution which operates similarly, but has no content to start with. I think it has a readme that explains how to customize it.
