Property rental and classified

Hello,
Is it possible to setup zencart to allow one type of users (not the store owner) upload their property details and daily rental (like classified ads) and another type of users (customers) select dates and book property against an advance payment. if so, could I have an idea of how it is done, i have gathered good knowledge of zen-cart customization and like the ease with which new modules, pages and templates can be created as compared to other apps like joomla, open-realty etc.

I've considered doing something like this, but haven't gotten to it yet. ZC is miles better than OR in terms of customizability ... if that's a word.

I have an automotive site that sells cars and I'd like to setup a module that allows users to pay to enter their own cars into the database. It would be like a classifed section that would allow the user to choose the category and enter their own contact details. Has anyone else been working on this idea?

Zen Cart is a great shopping cart, but we are NOT classified ads. There are lots of good programs for classifieds.

Could you suggest some such app. It should have a 'buy' function. I am thinking of developing my app on drupal

Yeah, I've tried Noahs classifieds and it sucks... I did some research and found that it is very problematic to set up. There is no support either so it is almost impossible to work with.

A suggestion for classified ads would be greatly appreciated.

I'm working on developing a component for joomla by modifying the market place component. This can be easier done for zen-cart but I need the other features of joomla. Maybe after that I'll develop it for zen-cart too.
