upgraded to Classicx - don't see it in languages

I have upgraded to ClassicX.

When I attempt to make changes, after reading the forum, and someone advised someone to go to:

includes/languages/english/classic

shouldn't I see
includes/languages/english/classicX

as a choice?

All I see is:

includes/languages/english/classic

is this right?

No classic XHTML provides only template files, not language files, so you would need to create your own classicx directory for your language file over-rides. The classic directory that you can see is left over from your default installation and will not be in use when your have selected classicx as your template.

Thank you for your reply. Greatly appreciated.

Can you tell me a simple way to "create my own classicx directory for my language file over-rides"?

Thanks again. I look forward to your reply.

If your question is "how do I create a directory?" The answer would depend on what operating system you were using.

If it is "what directories should I create?" then the answer is probably includes/ languages/classicx and includes/languanges/english/classicx.

If it is "what do I put in those directories?" then almost certainly a copy of your english.php in the first and header.php and meta_tags.php in the second, though there would probably be others depending upon which Zen Cart text you wanted to amend.
