How do I unzip on a server

I used the command line to ftp to the server (unix based). I then put the zencart.zip file in the proper directory. How do I unzip it onto the server? What is the command line to unzip the contents while using ftp?

Re: How do I unzip on a server

Thanks.
I was concerned that I was typing something wrong. I have tried the syntax in several combinations and nothing seems to work.

I did it last year to get my files opened on the server but the host site must have removed the command, changed something(or limited the use of the command. Nothing I tried would do it.

I have a large I/O bandwidth with the host but didn't want to use so much. I just expanded it on my computer and uploaded the tree to the server. Oh, well. :( thanks for the replies.
