Discount Coupon fakes checkout success?
sorry no.

sorry no.

I think I have tracked this issue down to Internet Explorer and how it handles form submits. If you press enter in the discount coupon field after entering it the form submits without the payment information??? When doing this you skip straight to the confirmation page with no payment details. If you confirm the page with the button everything is OK.

hello - see my thread above for the feedback I got from my client. However as I cannot repliacte this error myself and it is intermittant I don't think it is a browser problem or it would happen every time.

Do you mind if I try recreating this on your system? I'm fairly certain I can recreate the issue.

Hello
Just wondering if ther is a fix or something I can try to resolve this. The same issue has just reoccured and I really need to fix this.
I don't know if this might be a issue which will be resolved in 1.38?
Thanks.

I have also recently had this occur in a fresh install of 1.3.7. Customer used a coupon and paid by CC and the CC number was not recorded at all even though she entered all her information.

Hello - were you able to replicate this yourself and if so - could you let me know what you did.
Cheers

I am waiting to find out if by setting a payment method as a default - as described here:-
http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showthread.php?t=64391
will resolve this issue.

Just another update - following my post above - I couldn't set protx as a default so I removed all other modules leaving protx as the only payment method.

I desperately need a solution for this.
I only have one payment method now set up on my store - so it will default to this method.
This is a clean install of 1.37
My store owner has managed to replicate this error (after it happened again to her customer)- but I cannot.
These are the steps taken as noted by the store owner
• Selected products
• Entered discount code XXXX – then hit enter on my keyboard
• It came up saying ‘continue to checkout’ – which I clicked
• I intentionally didn’t tick the t/c box, and it then came up with the warning that I hadn’t ticked the t/c box.
• I then selected the t/c button and hit the enter button on my keyboard
• It then asked me to confirm the order – which I did.
• Then I got the message you see below saying thank you for my order
Please can some one help?

There are moe safeties now in the up coming Zen Cart v1.3.8 to prevent this so that the coupon is tested each step of the way to prevent this type of thing from happening ...
We are working to get that out asap ...

Hi all
I'm Having the same problem with Protx form and Discount Coupons.
Also big problems with incorrect totals using discount coupons.
It is a clean install of 1.3.7
Example of totals at the bottom of invoice-
Sub total :£194.30
Table Rate : £5.99
Discount Coupon :88d411640d: - £13.58
Total : £154.49
Very Strange >>??? What else is added to the sub total to make the total which is not seen?

In case it helps, this is what I found out when testing coupon problems:
In our case, the payment page isn't skipped, the credit card info just doesn't come through to the admin, and the card doesn't get charged.
It only happens when:
Customer is in same state as shop (charged tax)
Item in cart is on the "restrictions" list in coupon.
This happens using Authorize.net as the payment method.

This is TRUE! I just had a customer order with a discount coupon, they live in the same province in Canada as me, and they ordered items that were restricted from the discount coupon items! It's happened twice since setting up my discount coupon.

forgot to mention. It was with a paypal payment.

I have noticed this as well - same province, coupon is used, there are restrictions but in my case, it's always with CC payment and I don't get the CC number at all.
