installing on a new server but ERROR!!

I have been trying to installing 50times to install Zen into a blank server, however, following error comes after install complete........

Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /****/public_html/includes/counter.php on line 23

Webserver itself has a Mysql ver. 4.1.* and is a bit older version, it this affecting to script?

There is a good chance that that out of date version of php is the root of your problem ...

You could also be getting bad uploads of your files so that they are missing and/or corrupt when they get to the server ...

I thought that PHP 4.3 was the lowest version of PHP compatible with Zen Cart.

You wouldn't want to be using 4.1 anyway - so full of holes a 5 year old could hack it.
