Re: problem with new install

You seem to have some missed uploaded files from your FTP server end. Uploading with a good FTP Client software, such as LeapFTP, should do the trick to upload all the files correctly.

Right now, what it states is that the installation wizard cannot find your includes/application_top.php file (one of the most important file of Zen-Cart history). :wink2:

Re: problem with new install

Is it also located from your zc_install/includes/application_top.php folder ? :wink2:

Note: This file is not the same as your standard includes folder. You must upload it from the package from the zc_install folder.

It looks like you have double checked at the wrong location.

It's a PHP error message stating that the file is not there. So: or the file really is not there (which is by far the most likely cause of the error), or there is something wrong with your server configuration or file permission settings.

Re: problem with new install

Also for giggles ... delete the file before reloading the file ...

See if that makes a difference ...

Re: problem with new install

As an alternative solution, make sure your FTP Client software is set to override files and not to resume / ask for overrides. It will reset each files and then place the fresh ones during the upload process. :wink2:

Re: problem with new install

Change the file permissions to 755 or even 777 to see what happens.

Re: problem with new install

This file, part of image handler, is trying to run image-handler code, but you don't have the whole thing installed:
/public_html/secure/includes/extra_configures/bmz_io_conf.php

So, either delete the file, or fully-install image handler

Re: problem with new install

remove it, now getting this "Warning: main(/includes/autoload_func.php) [function.main]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/iaomheax/public_html/secure/includes/application_top.php on line 147

Warning: main(/includes/autoload_func.php) [function.main]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/iaomheax/public_html/secure/includes/application_top.php on line 147

Fatal error: main() [function.require]: Failed opening required '/includes/autoload_func.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/iaomheax/public_html/secure/includes/application_top.php on line 147"

And both files are present.

Re: problem with new install

/includes/autoload_func.phpif this file is present, then it must not have the proper permissions set.
Or else your configure.php file is busted and only has default settings.

Re: problem with new install

Perhaps it's time to start from a clean folder?
and a fresh upload using the latest ZIP from Zen Cart (zen-cart-v1.3.5-full-fileset-09042006.zip)
and a trustworthy FTP program (ie: filezilla)
?

The installer does this for you.

If you believe you should not let it do it for you, then post the file's contents here and maybe we can read it better and guess at its settings better than the installer can?

Like I said, I think you have the wrong zip, a bad ftp program, and a dirty folder you're uploading to.
