Is it possible to set maximum number options can be chosen?

Hi

I am setting up a website to sell food deliveries and the client offers specials such as:
Buy any 2 pizzas for £x

So because Zencart cannot link products and know when someones products meet a special criteria, I am setting up each special package as a seperate product.

So when going to the product you will get a dropdown choice of what pizzas you want called Pizza 1 and Pizza 2 and I have added all pizzas into both options! This is repetition that is taking some time.

So... Alternatively I could list all pizzas in an Option called Pizza as Checkboxes. But this would work a treat if I could specify the user can only choose 2 options, i.e. it will not allow a third pizza to be chosen from the checkbox list. Perhaps a pop up or something saying they cant.

Is this possible? If not then are there any suggestions to avoid setting up different Options for each repeated item in a specials package, and adding in each option value again ang again for every number of items you can buy?

i.e. I want to avoid the following options/Values situation:
Pizza 1:

• Margarita
• Cheese and Garlic
• Farmhouse
• Ham and Pineapple
• etc
• etc

Pizza 2:

• Margarita
• Cheese and Garlic
• Farmhouse
• Ham and Pineapple
• etc
• etc

Pizza 3:

• Margarita
• Cheese and Garlic
• Farmhouse
• Ham and Pineapple
• etc
• etc

Might be easier to perhaps post in Commercial Help Wanted and get this code written properly for that kind of discount ...

Or, as an alternative ... offer a Discount Coupon for $9.99 which is comparable to a Medium Pizza with 4 toppings ...

Post the Coupon Code in the Header or somewhere to make it standout ...

Thanks but I can write the code myself, I just wondered if there's a solution or suggestion already as I can imaging this situation, giving away packages/special offers etc. would be common.

Also, there's quite a lot of specials so doesn't make sense to make coupons. The coupons could be used for anything then couldn't they? The client is not willing to change the way he does business to suit the site, but the site needs to work how he does business so I'll figure it out.
