Zen Lightbox addon [Support Thread]

Hi
I m a new user of ZEN Cart and found this super add on.
However I would like to change the position of all the bottom cells.
Indeed, I prefer to have the description and the close image on the top instead of having it on the bottom.

Can anyone help me pleaze and tell me what to change ?

One month later since I last reported on this issue, I have employed both the Web Developer and FireBug FireFox add-ons and DOM inspector to help troubleshoot, but still no fix. I have ensured AdBlock and noScript are disabled for testing purposes.

Anyone with ideas or techniques to troubleshoot this issue? Running Zen Cart 1.37 and I have FireFox 2.001 installed on both PC's. :wacko:

I posted on this previously but have yet to resolve. Does anyone have ideas why Zen Lightbox would work fine in Firefox 2 on one PC but not another (but works in IE on both PCs).

In FF2 (on one of the PC's) I see a whitebox on black screen, but nothing else. I assume an issue with the JavaScript. I see that Zen Lightbox loads four different scripts:

1. Prototype JavaScript framework v.1.4.0 (lightbox_prototype.js);
2. Scriptaculous v.1.5.1 (lightbox_scriptaculous.js?load=effects);
3. Lightbox Effects (lightbox_effects.js);
4. Lightbox v2.02 (lightbox.js);

Firebug shows the following errors in stylesheet_lightbox.css (and Web Developer JavaScript console flags the same as warnings):

Error in parsing value for property '-moz-opacity'. Declaration dropped. (line 112)
Unknown property 'filter'. Declaration dropped. (line 114)
Error in parsing value for property 'opacity'. Declaration dropped. (line 117)
Error in parsing value for property 'display'. Declaration dropped. (line 133)

Is there a way in which you can have additional images for a product but not have them displayed on the main product page, but still have then displayed within the lightbox area?

You could try hidding the additional images using css.

Not sure if this will work, but it's worth a try! :)

Hi yes this is what i have done and it works well thanks - what a great mod you have!

I have installed this mod along with IH2 but i have a couple of problems and cant seem to find a solution.

the first issue is when i look at my product reviews i get extra text being displayed near the image ie [BAG10013]"> this is the products model no. How do I remove this so its not displayed?

secondly how do i remove the product model from being displayed under the product title?

and lastly if i click on the image in the review page it opens a full page and does not use the lightbox - any ideas?

Problems 1 + 3 are bugs with Zen Lightbox. :( I'm working on fixes for these atm.

Problem 2 can easily be resolved by the following...

1 - Login to your admin (for Zen Cart)
2 - Click on 'Catalog'
3 - Click on 'Product Types'
4 - Select the product type you wish to edit (the default will be 'Product - General and will already be selected)
5 - Click on the 'Edit Layout' button
6 - Change 'Show Manufacturer' to 'False'

Nice and easy! :)

I have tried your solution above but this still displays the model name/number in the review window. I have changed my catalog > Product Types > Product General > show model number = 0 (false) but its still displaying.

have been messing about with zen for past week, and now eyes need some rest.

but want this to work before i take break.

im using the lates vesion of zen, intalled the light box as stated in readme file.

renamed the folders to those of template. but nothing happens, am i missing anything,

my zen install is all standard, with only a UK template download, which adds a few counties and makes pounds the default,

do you have to have multiple copies of images in different sizes? or does it use the standard size.

any help will be appreicated.

My solution was for hiding the manufacturer info on the actual product info page, not the review page.

Not sure how to hide that one! Maybe you could comment out the code in one of the template files or hide it with css?

and do i have to have multiple images, for each product, lage , medium small?

as the install has had no effect just of yet

The solution you provided does not apply to the specific question/issue (maybe it applies to another issue).

Please review my posts on this issue earlier in the thread for more details.

Sorry I think my post got looked over so I'll ask again...

Can we change the watermark image that is optional to show automatically over images?

It doesn't "enlarge" your images at all.... when you click on them, they go to 100% of the true image size. Put up smaller images.

Just installed Zen Lightbox. However it seems to not be working. Followed instructions to a T. However the images show as normal.
Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

I think you may need to install Image Handler 2 if I am not mistaken.

I've had image handler and lightbox installed for a couple weeks ( still working on this store ) and I just noticed that lightbox works great in ie7 but the exact same page just locks in FF 2.01 take a peek http://www.estore.haskellgraphics.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=70

I hope theres a solution because I'd have to remove it.

Something wrong with YOUR FF 2.0.0.1... cause your site's lightbox works fine on my FF.
