Zen Lightbox addon [Support Thread]

Since Alex hasn't responded to your last question about an interim zip, am wondering if I decide to use lightbox, if I can get that zip file from you with "fixes" in it?
I'm awaiting for feedback from Alex. I truly don't want to step on anyone's toes here. Especially if Alex is truly on the cusp of releasing.

Also boylan, barco57, s_mack and samad has suggested many helpful tips, fixes and ideas throughout this thread. If Alex decides he no longer has the time (and/or the passion) to put out a version with updates, maybe these guys can pull together and do it?

And we all can provide Q&A testing support ;-)

I am wondering if someone here can help me to solve my lightbox problem. I have lightbox installed and everything works fine but the hover doesn't work on product list image, can someone please tell me why.

Sorry for not posting much. At the moment I'm currently making the move from full-time employement to full-time self employement! :) Yay!

Anyway... that aside, I'll be releasing the next version within about 1 weeks time. I'm still trying to get the admin config side of things sorted. However, that may be stripped out of the next release to speed things up.

heyy everyone.. I use lightbox with zen and as well with wordpress. I might have bit older version of lightbox mod since my zen is bit behind.. but there's only a little bug I'd need to get fixed in zens lightbox.

Some of my images will go over the screensize.. and in zen's lbox the background is only darkened for the part what is displayed first in the screen not the parts you can scroll with browsers scrollbar.. bit confusing hope you understood what I meant. This works fine in my wordpress lightbox so I wanted to ask if there's a simple solution make it work? any advices highly appreciated. many thanks.!!

Futhermore... I've been really into prototype these days and I'm using prototype script besides lightbox for menus etc. but this one tabmenu requires prototype 1.5 and lightbox_prototype seems to be 1.4... and they really don't mix so is there a way to update zen lbox to use 1.5 so I'd need to use two almost identical prototype files... many thanks...

If you are using Flash, the best way to work around it is to use the param wmode" value="opaque"

on product test the light box works but the close image is still the default one even tho i have deleted it and replaced it several times this is the product with the biplane

when you click the rocket ship the page just loads the image in a new browser window

any thoughts?

yup image is in the right place

but if you try and use the lightbox on the two test products there the lightbox only works on one as well

got rid of the lightbox now

seems to risky to use atm great idea tho so i hope the developer irons out the kinks

Light box works fine if installed right and if your cart is up to speed. If your site takes a while to load then its not a good option b/c in order for the Java script to work, everything has to be loaded. You can check out the founder of lightbox, google it. You can see trouble shooting somewhat there, but its code heavy. Great look when its running right.
