Zen Lightbox addon [Support Thread]

Can you tell me whats happening here? I had another version of lightbox and I just wanted to reinstall it because I could never get additional images to work, and now its all messed up.

All of the files are named correctly and stored in the same directory on my server.

thanks barco57 for the reply. I'm not sure that I understand. I don't have a folder for "Large" in the "Arm_Warmers" folder.

All of those image files are stored in one folder:

What should I look for next?

Fixed it, never deleted the old files DOH!

try renaming Red_PVC_Corset_Arm_Warmers_01_LRG.jpg to Red_PVC_Corset_Arm_Warmers_01.jpg and see if that works.

The directory location that I put up in a previous post is what your site is reporting as the location of the images, I would suppose that the _LRG in the filename is telling the cart to look in the large directory for the image and that is not where you have it.

I'm not sure exactly how this can be done at the moment. My initial thoughts would be to change the way that the lightbox is compiled (by editing the HTML code that the JavaScript creates in lightbox.js).

However, I'm planning to add this option (along with a long list of other new features and improvements) to the next version.

Do you think if it is a good idea to add 2nd, 3rd, 4th image..etc at the bottom or side of the light box image? So customers can be more easy to choose which images they want to look at ..instead next and prev.......

I am trying to use animated gifs as a secondary image but 99% of the time, I get a black box where the image should be. Once in a blue moon, the small image works and shows the animation but most of the time, just a black box....

Any ideas?

I don't follow what you are saying. I don't have any files that are named "Red_PVC_Corset_Arm_Warmers_01_LRG.jpg"
I shouldn't have to rename the files and add the "LRG" at the end.

In the previous post the actual file names are listed. Should I place all the files in a different directory? I placed all the arm warmer pictures in a file called"arm_Warmers" Should I just lump all the files together in the images folder?

As always, help is appreciated!

Hi all! I have installed this cool add on to my site, but I am having a strange problem. When I click a product image to show the larger sized image, the lightbox pops up...but I have two large rectangles of empty space below it, that are encased in the white background of the lightbox, and the NEXT and PREVIOUS buttons don't work. :oops: Any thoughts? Please check it out here, I left it installed so you could see:

ah ha, a clue, when I hover over the small additional image, in Firefox, I can see the file its trying to call.......and it appears that the cart is appending the _LRG to the file name....and being that the file doesn't exist, no display. This is what I see:
/Shop/images/large/Arm_Warmers/Red_PVC_Corset_Arm_Warmers_01_LRG.jpg I removed the http://.....

notice the _LRG

Try going to the images configuration and removing _LRG as the Product Info - Image Large Suffix and see what happens after that the only way I could fix it would be to gain access to the server myself to see whats going on. I haven't had the issues reported by other with the lightbox and IH2 together. I run heaven and earth designs and have never had a problem with either mod.

If someone still has problems with ZenCart 1.3.7.1, ImageHandler 2.0 and Zen Lightbox 1.4 here is what i did to fix it:

locate the file "additional_images.php" it should be in your includes\modules"template_name_dir".

Go to line 23 and remove the ". '$'".
The line should look now like this:
$products_image_base = str_replace($products_image_extension , '', $products_image);

Thats it. Hope it helps others.

I installed Zen Lightbox and it was easy.....Thanks......but it doesn't seem to be functioning?
I checked in admin >configuration and it's there and the "enable zen light box"
is set to "true".
Is there something else i should be doing?

Unfortunately, none of them helped. On your websites, you only have 1 image for each liusting right? My problem occurs when attempting to display the second, third, or fourth image. I can't even click directly on the images from the bottom of the listing. It hangs on the "flash" circle and won't display anything.

It looks like such a great add-on, and it seems to work for everyone else. I guess it's just not meant to be.

Does anyone else even have a similar problem like this? Would it help to delete everything and start again?
