Categories and Category Pics on Home

... if you have proportional resizing set to On, then if you leave EITHER a width OR a height blank, it will auto-calculate the other dimension for you ... effectively turning the width or height that you set into a "maximum".

If you specify both dimensions, it will resize to those dimensions exactly.

Once is resizes, can you change the size by changing this setting or do you need to reupload the pic?

Will this alter the size on the front page, since it is nto a Product Info Page?

The resizing doesn't touch any actual files. These settings choose the dimensions shown in <IMG .... height="xxx" width="zzz">

I understand that. However I note that say I have a large file that Zencart resizes to become 50 x 40px. Then if I change those dimensions then the size displayed doesnt change dynamically. I need to reload the image.

I still however cannot find what settting controls the Category Tag pics on the front page. The setting shown above only affect the Category picture on the product page.

No -- this affects the size of the "category icon" which shows only on the top of product-info pages as part of the previous/next navigation.

I need to reload the image.No, you shouldn't have to reload any file. Zen Cart only changes display size, not physical size. It should recalculate. Perhaps you're fighting a cache issue?

In the Images section, you're looking for:
Subcategory Image Width
Subcategory Image Height

Maybe, didn't think about that.

If it affects the category tag pics on the frontpage, then why is it called subcategory. I assume it changes their size also then

We have followed all the advise given but only 1 Sub Category text and image appear per row.

The site was correct but someone changed something or screwed up something during a mod. Now we only have 1.

We set the Product Listing Sub Categories Image to 3
Set Categories to display on main page

How can we get them back to rows of 3 or 4.

We even tried removing pictures.
