General Capabilities of Zen Cart

I'm thinking of switching to Zen Cart and have a few questions hopefully someone can answer. I didn't see these in the features list.

Does Zen Cart have the ability to place products in a specific order based on different properties (price, new items, etc) within the admin? Can this be updated easily in the future after products have already been entered?

How easy is it to modify the layout of the site? I would like to do more than just change the existing graphics. I know HTML and CSS, so how easy would it be for someone of my skill level?

Can you use seperate images for thumbnails of products and for larger images?

Is it possible to display multiple images of each product?

How easy is it to update the image size of product thumbnails?

Yes you can.

Yes, additional images can be displayed.

Suggest that if you can set up an extra database on your server, that you
download and install the latest version with the demo, and check it out. :thumbsup:

But as Zen Cart is has many different ways to filter the display of products and sort them,for display both in the Catalog and the Admin, the amnswer will be yes.

Can you use seperate images for thumbnails of products and for larger images?Answered by TShooters above - just to add that there is also an add-on (Image Handler) that generates different sized images to your specification automatically and caches them in your Zen Cart for you.
