Tax dosen't round up on invoice

My tax doesn't round up on my invoice but it does for the people when they get an email or when they pay.

Does anyone know how to fix this or where to start.

Example
2337Yen
price: 2337Yen
shipping: 290Yen
sales tax: 117Yen
total: 2743Yen

it is one yen short of what it should be, can anyone help?

What is the tax rate?

If you calculate tax on products first, and round it,
then
calculate tax on shipping, and round it,
and then
add taxes together
....
does it produce the same result?

ummm...you are way over my head on this. What I did was set Taxable Goods to 5% thats it. I guess this is my fault, but I don't know what to do.

i guess you're not taxing shipping.

+290 shipping
+116.85 tax

2743  total

2743.85 total

What are your currency settings for JPY ... Admin->Localization->Currencies
What are your Tax Decimal Places set at in Admin->Config->My Store?

In yen you can't do a .85 the 85 basicly, 100 yen is like 1$ so you can only do 100-0 or up past that, do you understand that?

I cannot duplicate the problem. I used this environment:

• Fresh install of v1.3.5, with demo products
• set default currency to JPY, created based on your settings above
• store Tax Decimal places 0
• created a new "test" category
• created a new "test" product, with price of 2337
• created tax zone "Japan", with "Japan - All Zones" selected
• created new customer with Japan as address
• purchased product. Paid using check/money order. Flat-rate shipping of 290Yen

all numbers calculated properly:

2337Yen  Sub-Total
290Yen   Flat Rate Shipping
117Yen   5% tax
-------------------
2744Yen  Total:

So ... something is different between configurations...

well when people go through and check out, it comes up right, but then on the invoice and under orders in the admin is where it is wrong, not 3.5 yet
