Purple Shades question

Hi all,
I've found a few things about that peek a boo thing in IE. Could someone please post exactly what to change and where in the CSS file as I have the same problem and can't get it to work.

Thanks a lot,

Matt:cry:

Re: Purple Shades question

ok this section looks like this:
.centerColumn {
padding: 10px;
background: #FFF0F5;
border-top: 1px dotted Purple;
border-right: 1px dotted Purple;
border-left: 1px dotted Purple;
border-bottom: 1px dotted Purple;
}

.centerColumn, #bannerOne, #bannerTwo, #bannerThree, #bannerFour, #bannerFive, #bannerSix {
padding: 0.8em;
}

should I change it to this ?
.centerColumn {
height: 1%;
padding: 10px;
background: #FFF0F5;
border-top: 1px dotted Purple;
border-right: 1px dotted Purple;
border-left: 1px dotted Purple;
border-bottom: 1px dotted Purple;
}

.centerColumn, #bannerOne, #bannerTwo, #bannerThree, #bannerFour, #bannerFive, #bannerSix {
line hight:1.2;
padding: 0.8em;
}

or delete the rest.

Where does the
h1, h2, h3, h4, h5, h6, p {
position: relative;
}
go exactly ?

Thanks

Re: Purple Shades question

Okay, we'll start with the one that worked for the other member...

To make sure it works and you know exactly where it is, only add this into your stylesheet as a stand alone(where you could find it easily);

.centerColumn{
height: 1%;
}

Can I have your URL?

Re: Purple Shades question

I've put it in between here:
.centerColumn {

padding: 10px;
background: #FFF0F5;
border-top: 1px dotted Purple;
border-right: 1px dotted Purple;
border-left: 1px dotted Purple;
border-bottom: 1px dotted Purple;
}
.centerColumn{
height: 1%;
}
.centerColumn, #bannerOne, #bannerTwo, #bannerThree, #bannerFour, #bannerFive, #bannerSix {

padding: 0.8em;
}

and it seems to work.
GREAT !!

Thanks

Re: Purple Shades question

You're welcome.

You can leave it like that or just add the height declaration to the main centerColumn selector. No matter, I think you can close up the CSS now, it looks good in sloppy IE6. :D
